Arashiyama! Momiji! Koyo! I love

I is lagging a bit more each time!
So here I am writing this article because November 27th I went with Jeff to Azusa and Arashiyama near Kyoto to see the changing color of autumn leaves, an event that is quite popular in Japan. Finally
this time I have a good excuse for the delay, I am in the midst of exams!
is really tiring, but on the other side more than a few days and is on VACATION! ^ ^
For a month! I go to Tokyo for 10 days, and I was invited to the ceremony the majority (who is 20 years in Japan) on January 10. I'd go if I can surely get a kimono, as it is really super expensive I'll get help with my Japanese friends.
That's it for today.
Good night!

Sunny Wagner Miosotis

(Rouen)

This year I made the effort to go to the Children's Book Festival in Rouen. Effort because I did not want too: it's always very hot, noisy and there are many people and especially sorry, but I find it quite ugly! "So I dragged a Generation Z not very keen on the idea, because Generation Y is more even bother to count.
Generation Z was very tired too quickly and I was accused of spending too much time talking ... librarians! Luckily I

managed to capture two local figures linked to the world of music at the same photo:

Alain de Nardis former frontman "The Nurse" which made him too, just as "The Dogs" the heyday of rock Rouen:

One last thing that I find it unfortunate: Why hold the two Children's Book festivals (Rouen and Montreuil) on the same weekend? This is especially unfortunate for the public who must make a choice and these children's authors and much less publicized is losing an opportunity to make themselves known?

Election Campaign

This Sunday, I invite you to take a ride on Bibliopathe blog because there are now some exciting things.
Under the guise of a contest, we discover the dark souls or the size of librarians: It's pretty amazing to see how a contest as trivial could trigger such passions and embezzlement (that go with
;-) We ' seen passing Librarians say that a certain taste for kitsch or worse ...

Bibliopathe Thanks for this moment of relaxation and the smile of the week :-)

And then if you can vote for me is the No. 9, although I admit this does is not the ugliest.
And by leaving a comment you will have the chance to be selected at random to win a limited edition mug collector already!

How Does General Anaesthetic Affect The Heart

censorship

An early?
In December 2008, the Library journal (s) of the ABF published an issue devoted to this theme. In his introduction to the record, Michel Melot, former Chairman of the Board of Library noted that one of the lessons to be learned [from the censures incurred], in which it is possible to act, is the isolation of librarians who are victims of censorship on the part of their guardianship. "
To demonstrate its commitment, which is that all librarians, for freedom of expression, the ABF (Association of Librarians of France) has decided to break this isolation, to support the authors and censored professionals (including colleagues in the BDP of the Somme) and publish the catalog Exposure:
"When illustrators draw youth to the great "
with subtitles for adults only

25 illustrators world famous youth were invited to draw "for large, among them: Bachelet Claveloux, Gauthier, Heitz, Joos, Lemoine, Maja, Nicollet, Ungerer, Zau, Zullo, joined Leo Kupe, the great author of the poster displays of Emmanuelle and Father Christmas is filth. They collected numerous awards, been published by major publishers in France and worldwide, in press, World to New Yorker, through the literary magazine or

exposure under the Lending Library of the Somme was banned 11 days before its opening by its sponsor, the General Council.
The national press ( Le Monde, Liberation, Le Nouvel Observateur, Le Canard chained, Art Press, France Inter and France Culture ...) and the Observatory of censorship and the League of Human Rights spoke out against this case of censorship brutal and stupid.
A wide selection of exhibition prohibited (31 drawings funny and touching) and draft posters Kouper Leo (Emma) are preceded by a history of the case and followed by an anthology of eloquent press.
Pascal Wagner, president of the ABF, the preface to the catalog explains: "In deciding to publish this catalog of an exhibition developed by a library as part of its cultural interventions and deprogrammed by the Trusteeship administration of said library, the ABF would like to make a signal about the ongoing problem of censorship in the library - a wakeup call, somehow . "
Colleagues, dear readers, if you wish to purchase this catalog, support the work of our colleagues, do not let the silence we dictate, head directly to your bookstore or on the website ABF . And do know this book in your library ... Let
Michel Melot concluded: "There is no point boast of national freedom: history teaches us that censorship has a long history in France and that its current forms rooted in the tradition of a strong central power and a powerful administration, which often leave citizens helpless. This is the librarian, helpless before a guardianship which would dictate a policy contrary to its own sectarian ideals. The main principles are useless in a good justice "For adults only
